Brave feller for wearing it. It's almost certainly one of those objects where you have to black to stand a remote chance of carrying off the look, although, even in this case, the jury's out.

Drop it like it's hot is literally the only thing he's done that doesnt make me want to hurt people.

Also, he looks like Uncle Pecos from Tom & Jerry

The hat was sold for $40k or something, charity I think.

A successful clothing label owner also, BBC.

Nor am I of course.

He is ridiculously successful at what he does, it is said indeed that he has the midas touch for these things. You want success, or at very least you want kudos associated with your work you get PW involved.

It is little shock that he was behind the two most successful songs of last year in the UK, god only knows what level of ****e he is responsible for Stateside.

He's also worked with some right ****e too though, he's obviously not too selective.

One thing that is very, very clear though is that he worked with people on either a plateau or decline in their careers. He's worked with better people than the poutput would suggest quality wise.

Obviously the exception being Jay Z on the Black Album but he worked with a different producer on every song for that.

In fact, that's the nature of being a creative in the music industry.

Just pointing out the obvious (and using Rubin as the example), that as a producer you're always going to be mixing the good with the bad.

As I said initially, Pharrell has been massively influential in the last decade. I think it's pretty misguided to think otherwise.

Though the chap, and his silly little falsetto, is a bit of a bugbear of mine I couldnt dispute his influence over the last decade.

Much like Stock, Aitken and Waterman though, it's a thoroughly malign influence.

Consider yourself lucky you're not a ****er. Only a red for now.
