2) Do you have any suggestions for dirty man vs. food type eating establishments. You know the sort of place where gigantic portions are encouraged, not frowned upon.

I had booked a restaurant near WTC for dinner one night that was called something 'grill' the website had all the usual diner type foods on it.
I was hoping for some big arse burgers.

It was nothing of the sort. it was all very posh and expensive.

the smell of corn tacos started turning my stomach, which pretty much meant all Mexican food was off-limits. Had one lovely Italian meal and that was about it.

I like food too much to starve myself constantly, I've been the same weight now for over a year so quite balanced all things considered.

minimum temp -14/+5. The actual chance of it being the absolute minimum is pretty low i'd say. The weather will probably be similar to what it is now unless there's a severe cold snap on the way, something they wouldn't be able to accurately predict two weeks ahead.
