I think Wenger should ask the media to justify why they don't ask better questions

Arsene Wenger BLASTS questions over two-day break for Arsenal stars

ARSENE WENGER has hit out after being asked to justify why he gave his players two days off after beating Sunderland.

Wenger rewarded his squad with a two-day break for thumping the Black Cats 4-1 last weekend.

Many players left the country to visit family and friends, with Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski going back to Germany.

And Wenger reacted angrily when quizzed about why he allowed his flagging stars a few days rest.

"I don't see why that suddenly is a problem," he said. "Many clubs have two days off sometimes.

"We've played since the beginning of December so we don't have to justify here why we have two days off.

"It's unbelievable," Wenger added. "Look we are in a society where everybody wants to control everything. I don't understand this question.

When it was put to Wenger that it was unusual for him to allow his players time off, he responded in a more light-hearted fashion.

"Unusual at Arsenal? We are entitled to do unusual things," he said.

"We came out of a very heavy schedule, so we had two days off thats all.

"Sometimes its not only physical but mental as you are always under pressure to perform.

"Sometimes for players to stay two days with their family is nothing unusual. Its not necessarily fatigue."

Nobody was SLAMMED or LEFT REELING, perhaps it would be different if the line of questioning turned to LOVE RAT Olivier Giroud (32-28-38).

As much as you decry the tabloids, Nic, you do seem to east up their **** like a hungry fecophiliac.

to ask him why he did it - and as Jorge points out his answer was pretty measured and reasonable. Unmistakable case of nothing to see here

Presumably the person asking the question had some reason for believing this to be so.

understand the meaning of offensive

As I have already mentioned above, feel free to ignore my comments, don't let it upset you, but I have a feeling its more to do with you showing off to others what a great critic you are, a weakness tbf
