forced him to play him on the wing and the rest is history.

A bit like Ashley Cole, he was on the verge of signing for Palace until Silvinho's passport turned out to be a bit dodgy wasn't he?

spent ages on the training ground shooting and crossing.
Your right though Redknapp was really close to ruining him. Chis Gunter was raving about him when Wales play. He trains harder and longer than anyone else.

but if Harry had binned him at that young age, would he have had the confidence knocked out of him? All speculation of course, but I doubt he would be playing for Madrid today if it wasn't for that injury crisis.

Good luck to him, he was one of the few Spurs players I didn't really mind as he just seemd to get on with playing (and diving!!) and left all the *******s to other people.

up for exactly what he is. A wheeler dealer. The football they play is shockingly bad. Even with that team that should be cruising the championship.

Love the bit when he moaned that he had to let go of 19 players in the summer, ignoring the fact that he bought in 18 players some of whom were the best ones from teams currently above QPR.

How are Reading doing this season - not really looked
