I am right to assume, as a Scandinavian know-nothing-about-british-politics gent, that this is not really going to happen?

From what I understand, it does not have any wide support among the voters?

Only issue for me is if they are going to do it then do it properly. Full independence with no help or ties to the rest of the Uk

Geordie MPS in the Scottish parliament.

My Great Grandad was a Scot by all accounts so I reckon I'll still be allowed in to see the Lochs and maybe visit Glencarron Lodge again.
