It's like they sit there all year in their horrid little town that no-one can point to on a map and consciously foment their grudge against us, looking forward to the day when they can boo a man whose leg their captain broke several years ago. It's weird.

but Eastham spent a similar number of years at each club, comprising most of his career. The others are more lopsided.

I used to play gigs in Stoke circa 1990 and also worked on some engineering software used to make factory chimneys in Burslem. I'm quite fond of grimy old industrial towns, having lived in a couple, so I don't hate the place.

I'm sure they have some decent fans but so many of them seem to ... have issues.
