Transformers 3D ride at Universal studios was fantastic.

Finally saw something 3D that lived up to my expectations.

The simpsons ride is good too though not 3D.

Is there still a massive Hyatt Regency on Princess Kalakaaua Avenue?

popped in there a few times.

Couldn't move for these ABC stores though. Every 1/4 of a mile.

The Delaunay - I was a little pissed for this one, but the tarte flambée and choucroute were, I'm sure, up to their usual standard. Oh. and Tracey Emin was canoodling with a woman at the table next to us, is she a dorty lezza?

Dabbous - New menu, same sommelier. A good meal but not a great one. The wow factor seems to have gone missing somewhere. Nothing to compare with the purity of the alium broth or the essence of peas - although the roast goose is exceptionally good.

J Sheekey - as ever, comfortable and comforting. Oysters and champagne are never wrong.

Pollen Street Social - So VERY Atherton.

You're clearly the expert on geo-political culinary linguistic peculiarities. I just eat the stuff.

Essentially, it means 'cabbage cabbage'.

Rum lot, these Alsaciens. Can't trust 'em.

Apart from AW, of course.

I had something wrong with my eye.

There is always a few people in the cinema that make a noise when anything is flying towards them. It really isn't that realistic. For me it looked more like cardboard cut outs had been floated on top of the screen.

Though this ride was very good.

It's one I've always looked at but end up choosing somewhere else.

Went to Galvin La Chappelle near Spitalfield the other week for lunch, was quite impressed with the service and food but it wasn't a patch on Galvin at Windows.

Cyrus Todiwalla's Cafe Spice Namaste was very good when I went last week, had an excellent authentic Dansaak which is completely different to the ones in a normal curry house. The better half had Ostrich Bhuna which was really good as well.

Off to Le Gavroche next month

So that bus coming towards you down the street, you see in 3d.

you need both eyes to be working for 3d to work.

In actual fact you are not seeing anything in 3d really. Your mind is taking to images from to lenses and creating one image of 3d.
