Was the use of 'common sense' in not giving boateng a second yellow.

Irritating that common sense is appropriate in one situstion and not another.

Thought we played well with eleven and defended well with ten. They are too good for us and over two legs we were never going to beat them.

Terrible, terrible penalty from ozil. As soon as i saw he was taking it i knew what was going to happen.

Goalscoring opportunity. Other than that, you are correct.

If you take it literally you will end up with players being sent off for colliding with chamakh 50 yards from goal with covering defenders...... :-)

back for having had the thought beforehand.

We all do it and conveniently forget the number of times we say 'he's going to miss' just before the player smashes it into the back of the net.

Of course, cthe keeper could have slipped over so i didnt know for a fact that he was going to miss. I could have been wrong.

I knew they were going to miss as well. That, admittedly, was just a feeling, along the lines you have described.

Anyway. He missed and is therefore a c**t. That is the important thing.
