Not that I give a f**k of what's cool or not.
I thought thon recent documentary on his last tour was fúcking genius and a lot funnier than most people's bestest stand up routine.
The fat lad is without peer imho

I watched it and thought it was pretty good though. I dont really get the whole massive populist appeal thing.

Then again, the doc did seem to explicitly set out to paint him as an everyday, normal jobbing stand up who put in the road miles and paid his dues. A lot of the comedians he worked with, and reportedly stole wodges of material from, claimed he was the exact opposite of this so it's either an incredibly cynical PR move or a very real attempt to atone for his previous indiscretions.

so do lots of others....its not feckin rocket science is it..populist appeal ? wtf does that mean anyway ? its not wrong for something to be popular..just because people want to be cool and ITK and keep it in a clique..normally means its bollox :hehe:
