The 'purists' seem to revel in the stuff that everyone else hates - like Dorn, the fact that Tyrion isn't much fun any more, how dull Daenyris has become, and the fact that the ice zombies have still done f**k-all.

He'll never finish it. We'll have to rely on HBO to tell the rest of the story imo.

Yeah, tyrion my fave book char ever...but he's in a lull atmo.

And I think the casting for GOT has been absolutely fantastic - can't think of a misfire.

I heard he has told them how he envisages the story panning out so even if he dies before he writes them they can finish the series

Of course I'm biased, with it being set in 19th Century London, but I thought there were some geniunely good characters. and some fine young ladies in their corsets etc ... (one of the regular locations was a brothel)
