first of all, there is lack of confidence from our fans because we have't won stuff for a long time,

secondly we as most fans do, we try to analyse why we're not winning stuff, looking at the managers position is one way

most importantly, just like any fans, despite not believing in the team or the manager, these fans still hope we win everything,

ofcourse i love wenger and want him to sign the damn contract, but i dont see our fans as ill or weird, infact they are among the most patience out there.

just look at the manu fans, they won the league 9 months ago, after having a poor half a season, they are close to mental breakdown.

i kept defending wenger and argued the owner should provide some money from anywhere while we had these financial limitation or we could drop back so far that we wouldn't benefit from the great work we did as a club and wenger did in keeping us in the top 4.

the wenger outs however keep pointing out that we should atleast have won a cup or 2, which for me would be nice, but irreverent in the bigger picture.

they also think wenger has some tactical shortcomings, again for me that's petty. with the squads he had, he did well to keep us in the top 4 and he won trophies when he had a better squad, thus his "tactical shortcomings" are nonsene imo.

having said all that i understand their pain i also think they have been very supportive and patience during these years of transformation. we've saved 350 million since 2006,

no club in the top european football comes close, that wouldn't have been possible without our fans paying their share and being supportive, therefore we shouldn't call them retards and ill every time they show a bit of frustration.
