Supporters should support their team and they won't play better if they get booed. But what's wrong in flagging a bit of dissatisfaction after the final whistle? I think the players did poorly yesterday, on both sides actually. A crap game with ****e passing and no entertainment whatsoever. I did not see any quality football at all, not even one single good shot.

The rapid movement of air through the fans' mouths might have damaged the little fellow irreparably, as Basil Fawlty would have put it.

question, given we are sitting nicely around the top of the league with 13 games to go, why would our fans jepordise our chances by doing the very thing something will ruin the brittle confidence of our players?

furlong decline. We will slip behind further and when the gap is, say, five points you'll still be saying "We are only five behind with five games to go!".

and in 98 when we lost at home to blackburn in december leaving us 12 points behind, and in 91 when we dropped points in 3 of our last six, and in 2004 when we dropped points in 4 out of our last 7 and went out of both cups.

and Chesney save was pretty good all round. Probably the one bit of top class football in the whole game.
