child attacks are Bull Mastiffs, they are pitbulls not Mastiffs. Twice they've done it now

Mastiffs are lovely dogs

Apologies if this post is a touch Nicosia, just winds me up

When will people realise that walking around with a large dog and telling everyone how lovely it is is analagous to walking around with a loaded gun and telling everyone how safe it is?

It may be generally true, but it only needs to be untrue once and it's still bloody scary for everyone else.

A gun owner has more control over their lethal weapon, especially when the snarling vortex of claws and teeth is off its lead.

They don't get them as pets. They are specifically chosen by the owners to make themselves look " 'ard "

The problem is therefore the primarily the owners and not the dogs

Sorry to get all McGooner on you

I think this is a major step forward in race relations.

I assumed that foreign aid was mainly a country's way of buying loyalty from other countries, and using it as a bargaining chip later? Otherwise it'd be an easy win for politicians to scrap it

The fact a good owner can make one of those a good pet is the reason I say the owners are mostly to blame

farmer owners have had no sentimental compunction about giving them a wild beating if they misbehave.

My brother in law is a Welsher from Anglesey and was raised on a farm. He lives in Alsace and has a large dog called Paddy. Paddy when young would occasionally snap at the children. When he was foolish enough to do this, my b-in-l would essentially punch the dog into submission. Paddy these days is a big, soppy sod who expends all his aggression on moles. Job done imo.

Their terms of reference are far too narrow and they never accept that all types of dog are not the same.

Basically, they are good with police-type dogs only.

I'm not sure a relationship that requires a period of brutal physical violence is a healthy one all the same.

I am a cat person though. If you tried that with them they'd **** in your slippers and go and find someone who wasnt an arsehole.

Mail demands foreign aid to be spent on replacing British carpets
11-02-14

THE Daily Mail has called on the government to stop sending money to poor foreigners when it could be used to replace carpets right here in Britain.

The flooding has also affected Jaguars

The flooding has also affected Jaguars

The newspaper has launched a petition which has actually been signed by people.

In a hard-hitting editorial the paper said that British carpets must always come first and that most foreign aid was used to build Chinese spaceships.

Meanwhile, the Mail underlined the horrifying extent of Britain’s humanitarian crisis by illustrating its story with a photo of a moist BMW.

Martin Bishop, from Somerset, said: “I’ve only had this carpet six months and now it’s all soggy. I’m really unhappy, but the government won’t even buy me a new telly.”

His wife Sarah added: “How many BMWs have to get wet before the government stops trying to impress stupid African babies?”

Professor Henry Brubaker, from the Institute for Studies, said: “People who don’t have flood insurance either didn’t ask for it, which is mentally defective, or were denied it, which should have caused the first faint stirrings of something being amiss.

“If we are going to use some foreign aid money, perhaps we could make a film about how not to buy a house on flood plain.

“It’ll be called How Not to Buy a House on a Flood Plain, it will be 10 seconds long and consist of me holding up a piece of cardboard on which I will have written ‘don’t buy a house on a flood plain’.”

He added: “Meanwhile, you can still do your bit for Britain. If you meet someone today who has signed the Mail’s petition, try your very best to urinate on their legs.”

Why do we not send every penny of GDP to assist those less well off? Clearly that would be absurd. So. 90%? 80%? 70% Not 60, surely? 50?

Come on snin, tell us exactly what the correct proportion of GDP we should be sending as foreign aid is. Please show your workings.

The Telegraph isn't far off in the mental stakes. In other media, the BBC delivers straightforward communist propaganda and Channel 4 is run by muppets called Tristram who live in Islington and have body piercings.

So f**k them all.

or is being in a team merely one of many social choices you make based on necessity and circumstance. When the game is done, each of you go home as individuals, do you not.

Dogs are not hunters in any meaningful sense anyway. And even those creatures that are only "pack" when situations demand or allow it.

I've still yet to see any justification for the BBC being ****o/communist/lefty/trots though, it all seems very deferential and centre right to me. Watch a piece on Israel, the royal family or something involving british troops if you dont believe me.
