The only crumb of comfort that I can take from the weekend's humbling is that we've bounced back after every defeat. That said, the previous defeats were all followed by very winnable games against opposition that were neither man united or contained van persie.

Even if things get a bit ugly in the cups, there's no reason to think we can't remain in touch in the league as we go into March.
