Now a rowing machine, there's a depressing piece of equipment.

Saturday morning and found myself running knee-deep in icy, fast-flowing, muddy water for much of the time.

Character-building stuff imo. And dampens the beastly urge a treat.

Since when did exercise have anything to do with comfort? You should be mortifying your flesh, not prancing around on a machine in your centrally-heated spare room.

...I have issues with my Achilles and the physio says I must not run until it's sorted....hence my need for something other than the cross trainer. I like rowing so much I might even buy one for home...you're not selling your one, per chance? Ashtray not required.
