Its only a family member, if it was someone else for profit making then I can understand them

'A Newcastle United fan had her ticket cancelled & sold on by her beloved football club after allowing another family member to use it'

Other news my mate's daughter (& my god-daughter) was in the local paper, she works at a museum in Newcastle & is curating a Newcastle exhibition there...

I very much doubt she was unaware that she was given a concessionary ticket because she was disabled.

Arsenal offer 50% discount for the disabled person and 100% for their carer. That's effectively two people getting 'in' for 25% of the normal cost.

For those of you who pay full whack how would you feel if you knew it was being abused to cut the cost.

FWIW, Liverpool fans have regularly passed on concessionary tickets to non-disabled people for games at the Emirates. And this is NOT an "allegedly".

Is it any different in principle than parking in a disabled car parking space or using a 'blue badge', etc etc. They know the rules when they get these things so .....

Bottom line, not a lot of sympathy for her tbh.

be enough as well as charging her the full amount for that match

It may very well have been the first time but a simple :nono: potentially sets a bad precedent

You know the rules, take a chance, you run the risk of paying the price if it goes wrong

Maybe not the best analogy but "It's the first time I was speeding officer so it'd be a bit OTT to take my driving licence off me" :-)
