Was just wondering how much graft is required for a very high-spec app, both in build time and cost. By high spec I mean very aesthetically pleasing with lots of unlimited scrolling (think Yummly) and requiring weekly updates to content.

Do I need to go into medical testing to pay for this?

The other thing was that new technology is not *always* better. DG's point was that because any fecker can make a record now, the standard has dropped. Add that it was always the case that people with limited talent but good contacts always crowded out the talent, this is now even more so. After all, after so many decades of continuous innovation, don't you think things have massively stagnated over the last, I dunno, 15 or so years? Think of the utter, utter banal **** that Rich used to post as he "skanked around the flat" to it, thinking it was incredible.

Then he quoted some band saying "oh we don't rehearse - the machine corrects the mistakes". Ugh.

But anyway, these quibbles aside, I'm glad you liked it. My favourite thing was the emphasis on the magic of a whole band building the arrangements, and the way energy and ideas can flow. This to me was always the best part of making & playing music.
