Arsenal opted against signing another striker in the January transfer window, deciding to push ahead with Olivier Giroud as the main man in attack instead.

Nicklas Bendtner is still there along with youngster Yaya Sanogo, but talkSPORT's Drivetime presenter Adrian Durham believes the Gunners could easily have brought in a striker better than Bendtner, to bolster their title hopes.

He goes further and suggests Arsene Wenger missed a trick by not looking at Danny Ings and Sam Vokes, two players Adrian believes would offer more than the Dane.

The duo's goals have helped Burnley keep pace at the top of the Championship table, with 31 strikes between them to date and Adrian reckons Arsenal could have landed either player for 10m, tops.

“It’s the variety of the goals they score, the intelligent running, the link up play,” he said, arguing that both could prosper at Premier League level.
