Still can't see why Podolski doesn't get more playing time.

You experts can tell me if Giroud is key to our style of play ie big front man who can hold up the ball and lay off as required but then why isn't Pod getting more play ahead of or instead of say Walcott or Gnabry?

Giroud does hold the ball up well and brings players into the game, almost in the Bergkamp role, IMO Podolski can do the the Pires/Ljungberg role, he's certainly quick and is clinical in a way that Theo isn't.
