Despite trying to organise everyone to press more in first half and compress space from defence to attack, it was clear (1) defence didn't want to, as they were more worried about s'hampton getting in behind (which they did frequently anyway) and (2) arteta and him couldn't handle midfield runs - arteta looking very short of fitness.

Bearing in mind he wasn't originally intended to be our holding/tackling midfielder this year and wenger must have had other targets in the summer, wouldn't be surprised if club go back to whoever they were, notwithstanding flamini's form and contribution to the cause. Also, arteta's lack of mobility is becoming an issue and their respective lack of size and strength in midfield pales when they get confronted with a yaya. Jones, probably Matic too.

So Gundogan and Draxler this week? Or is gundogan also too short. Carlton palmer then.

Both of them are alright with Wilshere or Ramsey next to them.

Pref for Ramsey & Flambo but he seems to love Arteta.

They went past Arteta last night a few times like he wasn't there, it was embarrassing..

season). This season we're moving the ball upfield much quicker, which doesn't suit his style.
