View Full Version : So, I guess if you go in two-footed it doesn't really matter whether you got the ball first and/or

there was little harm done?

Looked like a red to me in open play before the replay, but I've seen worse get off with less.

You have to be in control of the challenge, if you launch yourself as a two footed studs up missile you aren't. If the Saints player had stretched and flicked the ball on he might have had his career ended.

There really is no place for that in football.

giving Saints all the help he could. They [refs] all dislike Arsene Wenger.

otherwise you'd have guys launching themselves everywhere. You have to be in control of your body.

shame that isn't called consistently. Too often the result determines what the ref does.

No ref that saw that could possibly give anything other than a straight red.

After he got the f**king ball way before other chap ran into his 2nd foot...soton guy should get red for following thru after losing control of ball

he only got a yellow. One rule for United, one rule for the Arsenal.

Looked like he literally jumped in with both feet to me.
