to watch Arsenal v Chelsea on TV, so she suggested we had plenty of time to pop in to see her friend on the way home. I reluctantly agreed, with all of the usual caveats. As we were sitting there and the time was ticking away, I realised there was no way I could get home in time for the game. So then I tried to google local pubs that might show it. Then just as we weare leaving (so i could have at least caught the second half) they suggested we went for a Sunday walk together. I was seething

Of course you have a f**king choice.

a) It is only a cousin and further one you have not seen in a long time. Not seeing her is no big issue.

b) It is one football match, there will be others. Missing it is no big issue.

Naturally, I stood on my dignity and refused.

We ended up eating in KFC. I dislike Enfield.

Tedious, really. Not least as Cheshunt is a soulless dump.
