Go into Settings, Location and change it to 'Battery Saving'

The update defaults to turning GPS on for greater accuracy. That fücks your battery

I'd try the other tips I've suggested before going down that road though.

FWIW, my phone loses 1% per hour on standby overnight

Install CPUSpy and Wakelock Detector see whether it goes into Deep Sleep and if not which apps are causing to to wake up
