I actually quite like david moyes. Or at least, i dont dislike him at all.

And of course, ferguson is sat there pissing himself, his ego growing on a daily basis.

I would still rather they won something than City or Chelsea

I bet he goes to the car park, jumps into his car and absolutely pisses himself.

One of the unexpected bonuses of Moyes is the fact he does a fantastic line on looking disbelievingly shocked, he's the perfect steward for this period

but because there is so much to respect about them as a club.

To laugh at Man United is to basically say that the only way a club can ever avoid ridicule is by being permanently successful. Which is ridiculous.

Far, far rather see Man City and Chelsea struggling...

I would suggest this little part is bigger in fergie than in most.

Imagine this happening with him in charge. Now that i would have enjoyed.

I'm struggling to see it any other way.

self sufficient, with huge sponsorship deals enabling us to buy top class players.

As you say, would far rather it be City or Chelsea going through this

above and beyond the usual managerial bias and defensiveness.

Moyes only ever looks behind him when they are ahead, every time they go behind everyone but moyes turns around to look at sralxfrgsn.

But admittedly nothing like the scale of the other two.

even whilst they were winning stuff.

Never heard or met a City or Chelsea fan who would rather try to achieve success without buying it.

in the transfer market while at Everton, probably sealed his fate in that respect.
Extorting 30 odd million out of him for Felaini must have been sweet on reflection. :-)

I believe a fundamental part of being a supporter of a football club is to revel in the trials of rivals, to take huge joy from their f**k ups and to instantly and often without exception hate their players and indeed employees.

I don't buy all the above myself.

I am enjoying United's current plight because I sit surrounded by them, smug *******s to a man.

On the other hand I am not overdoing it as I know our own season could quickly fall apart.

I also know United will be back, probably sooner than some are suggesting. All hinges on the events from now until May. Them signing Mata is a good start from their perspective.

It's a nice fanciful notion, quite 'cool' in a way but it's *******s.

20+ years emotional investment in a club turned off overnight because of ownership. *******s. You know as well as I do that support of a football club is not something that can readily be turned on or off.

Berni spouted *******s like this in the past. Ultimately he was talking out of his hole.
