Anyone here come across a problem where files on a memory stick are showing as shortcuts?

I have googled it and it seems to have happened to many people with various suggested solutions

What was your solution if you have come across this?

thing. Memory sticks will only respond to being vigorously inserted in your a'hole

and then double click run on the ball-sack, shove the memory stick deep up your arse-hole, pull your cheeks wide apart, manoeuvre yourself carefully into the fetal position and push that stick out of your hoop as hard as you can. All fixed.
