The Sagna situation is very difficult. You have the club offering him

a 2 year extension at slightly better than his current muted £70k yet you have a player where other clubs would happily take him for free & probably near on double that considering he is the best right back in the PL, one of the best in Europe & has been immense for us this season to date.
On the other hand the club have to keep wages sensible otherwise everyone will want huge increases.

I would say Zabaleta is quite some way above him going forward and in defence even though I have always been a big Sagna fan. Ivanovic is probably a better defender then he is but in turn is a better centre back than full back.

Bottom line is he will stay if he wants to stay which hopefully he does
