The Nog army has decided to cut the traditional 30 km march down to 20 km on account of today's yoof not being up for it.

What happened with these chaps? Did our gene pool get watered out by the British nuns they kidnapped back home?

swimming the North Sea. If you look carefully at history, you'll see it's genetics. I'm just surprised they cut the distance, as I heard they were advocating allowing them to use segway's/

Badass with a beard, trusting no f**ker and burning without hesitation. That's embracing your heritage.

It kinda depends on what you expect. Troll Hunter doesn't really embrace our proud, violent heritage. For that I'd probably recommend "The Pathfinder."

Unless you actually believe in trolls, in which case it's an awful advert

It is better known as "the Overlook Hotel" in the Shining. I was surprised, known the yanks' affection to Heavy marketing that we weren't greeted by huge fackin poster with "here's Johnny!" grinnin' at us in the reception.

Reason was that they reckoned it could have the reverse effect.

Scandy film industry is interesting, how we have become quite good at different genres. Us nogs have produced some good splatter and horror stuff, the Swedes produce police series whereas the Danes are good at violent organised crime series.

I would have loved to go to the Overlook, if nothing else then to enjoy the drive up there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgCejsyS0t8.

Little known fact, that footage was also used at the end of Blade Runner.

The only thing that was filmed in Oregon was the hotel itself, with the possible exception of the last stretch up to the hotel, where the black dude came with the snowmobile.
