I wouldn't have thought MLS teams would need to buy players. and could probably snap up free agents from Europe quite easily. Especially a player of the age of Defoe.

They are now trying to by Michael Bradley from Roma.

It's a good move for Defoe imo. He can make money and be the star at the club. Especially as he appears to have celeb pals like this Drake bloke. Who I bumped into at UFC in Toronto.
