Surely it's a bit late for that, isn't it?

Anybody would think Gove was making outrageous statements just to cover up the fact that he's **** at his job and has lower approval ratings than many serial killers, never mind his cabinet colleagues.

After all, anyone who doesn't give unconditional support to the conduct and basis of every war Britain has ever fought is basically either Stalin or a fifth-former.

Which basically means "support our foreign policy".

Otherwise you're one of them, and you dont want to be one of them.

Any anyway you'd think - if blackadder were vile leftist propaganda - that baldrick would, at some point in the show's 800yr time span, have risen up and overthrown blackadder's tyranny.

Surely the preservation of a social order where the middle class could keep servants and constantly beat them, like rich on his period, would be a conservative's wet dream.

If the teaching unions hate you that much, you're clearly in danger of actually improving our education system. More power to his elbow imo.

...ng.

I know a fair few people in education and nobody, literally nobody, has a good word to say about the man.

Also, the recent investigations into the free schools which have gone spectacularly belly up - whilst having to be bailed out by real schools, with the disadvantage of the failed policy being felt entirely by them and their pupils - seems to point to policies so spectacularly badly thought through that it beggars belief.
