I'm more than happy for players to prove me wrong but I had serious concerns about whether he actually 'got' football as he so consistently made the wrong decisions for years. I think he's developed about five years in the last eighteen months though. Very, very impressed.


I would like to see him played against a team using adult tactics, mind.

brilliant when on the shoulder of the defender, not so good when having to face his own goal. Fortunately for him, Spurs didn't really challenge his weaknesses. Our midfield got behind their midfield far too easily so Theo didn't really have to receive the ball with his back to goal too often. If he plays up top on his own against a side with a manager with 2 brain cells to rub together, he may not have it so easily and his weaknesses are more likely to be exposed.
