Despite being a good young 3rd choice striker behind Ade and RVP, Wenger thought he could get Chamak free, flog Nicky for £5m or so and bank the cash.

Closest he ever came to praise was when he turned to me and said "I suppose your boy Bendtner wasn't too bad today" after he'd scored a hat-trick.
Gutted he's injured.
I reckon he'd play well with Poldi on the left and Santi in the middle.
