1719:

BENDTNER OUT? - Arsenal 2-0 Cardiff

This could be significant as the transfer window reopens - Arsene Wenger has said that Nicklas Bendtner has sprained his ankle and will be out for 'weeks.'

Will that mean that Wenger will have to buy a striker now?

what we saw last year, Podolski can't play up front in the system we play. With Bendtner now out for probably 3 weeks at least and Giroud injured, we need one. We needed one anyway, but it's even more of a need now.

"Arsenal", "courtesy" and "BBC" in the post

Or at least ones that our fickle supporters won't call **** if they don't score a hat-trick on their debut and every game afterwards

Agree with you though that we really need to strengthen as we can't rely on all of Giroud, Podolski, Walcott, Bendtner, The Ox and Diaby all being fit at the same time. Or even any time :-(

Signing someone pretty much now as the injury problem is only going to be a problem for the next three weeks. Signing someone at the end of january wont help that much.

NOT Nicosia. Now banned.

Unless he was planning to go in right now anyway, which i doubt. He certainly isnt the type to panic over a few injuries and anyway, it looks like giroud will be back in a week.
