View Full Version : Perhaps it's none of our business, but when AVB was sacked, it seemed that many of their fans

felt he had to go (poor tactics, dull football, couldn't get his own signings to gel etc), but after last night's defeat there seems to have been a general change to Levy Out!

The revelations that many of the new players were not the choice of AVB may be a part of that. Also, some eye-watering anti-Semitism about the current owners from some of their fans as well.

inclined to think that concerns about the people who run their club are entirely justified.

Scientifically shown to be the miserablist, most cranky group of human being ever put on God's good earth. Prone to cries of "Faahking Talbot!" Always monobrowed. They also call phone-ins on LBC to protest about immigration a lot.

Not keeping jews like dogs, I want to state that's categorically a bad thing.

That's rubbish isn't it? Before the recent years, where they've funded signings by selling their best players for good coin, they used to spunk fortunes on players, ISTR.

Many of them are calling for the club to be sold to some "big, sweaty Arab or Uzbek type" now, who will bankroll them Citeh style. Not that our fat, sweaty Uzbek has given us any money.

that *could* just be to avoid the tax liabilities and to facilitate the regeneration thing.

Then again it could also be to refinance or restructure the whole lot.

Though, well done Arsene for detecting that this would be Nibbly's breakout season.

so they wouldn't have to go through any of the pain that we did.

Also, I have to admit that my cluelessness about the world of finance means that I couldn't interpret your comments as either a Yes or No to the question or whether or not he has been bankrolling them.

Perfectly happy if Theo, Poldi etc could do the same.

All I'm saying is the man is a massive fan of tax havens, to the point where he lives in one, as monty can attest to, but doesnt like to talk much about.
