Not only is it patently a rubbish comparison, it actually undermines any otherwise reasonable criticisms of Israel by being deliberately and offensively provocative. It is also utterly counterproductive, as it opens up the user to the go-to counter-accusation favoured by Israel's proponents of anti-Semitism.
