Couldn't watch the game yesterday due to commitments with my non-league club.

However there were plenty of people very happy to keep me informed as the goals kept going in against us, and that feeling of 'here we go again' came over me.

However, after watching MOTD I felt quite positive.

We scored three against a top side.
Should have scored another three from great chances.
Should have had another two from dodgy offside decisions.
You could tell Arsene was not happy in his interview.

This was a game that one or two players will learn a lot from, particularly Wilshere. As a team this defeat will stand us in good stead. We will beat Chelsea next week imo.

We just simultaneously lost any kind of defensive cohesion/solidity that had been the bedrock of this season's run of form

And if it wasn't for Giroud's profligacy and the dodgy ref and lino decisions who knows what the outcome would've been.

(Not that City weren't good value for their three points, even with the dodgy officiating, because they were)

We're ****.

No we're not.

Oops, **** again.

Wait a sec.

Oh dear.

****. Not ****.

Mertesacker is our Teutonic Tony Adams. He should be wearing a Pickelhaube* instead of an armband.
