View Full Version : I thought Ozil was bloody marvellous yesterday. He looked less leggy than he has done recently.

"ARS 1–1 EVE. Marty Feldman-esque thyroid tyrant Mesut Ozil tells trembling glands “none shall rest till my bulging eyes can orbit my head”."

If we get great moments and great performances, during that period, that is a bonus.

He's not the sort to dominate games. Telling flashes, that's what we paid for.

he is playing the full 90 mins nearly all the time so hopefully his fitness is improving.

No, but seriously, I think the idea is that he is always like that, that is his game.

play as if he gives a ****.

As we all know, his signing was as much about reminding us that we're The Arsenal than it was about us winning things.

How'd I do?

the problem was that the flashes of brilliance diminished and what was left was a midget that did very little.

I'm hoping that Ozil will settle in and be the type of player Cesc was

He was a one off. A singularity. He left us. We will never see his like again.

I'm going to cut myself now.

I said the type of player Cesc was, not as good as Cesc.

After all, spending 50 million pounds does not necessarily buy you 50 million pounds worth of player. Young Mesut is hardly "worth" that money any more than Aaron Ramsey or Jack Wilshere are.
