We need runs for the rest of this series and I believe Taylor plays short stuff very well. Don't know anything about Ballance, other than the fact he is a run machine in county cricket and is a pretty big unit.

Not heard any particular reason why as he was called up to the squad last season when KP was a doubt. Just very odd - he's not even in the development squad. I think he is a massive talent and still only 23 so hopefully he will get a chance in the future.
