Beano's left :furious:

And for some reason I always got the rough deal on the football stickers swapping.

Got got got got oh Paul Davis I need him. I'd have to swap like 10 bloody stickers for it :banghead:

I am a sucker.

Saturday morning so they would have to wake up for her. I wasn't sure how to respond. I went with you should book her for later on then.

I much prefered the Marvel comics, if not for the actual stories than for the adverts.

Oreos, Reece's Pieces, Cap'N Crunch, Charles Atlas' in no way gay bodybuilding programme, X Ray Specs!

Did they ever do anything about Walter the Softy? He basically gave the green light to generations of queer bashers imo.

were either H/O scale or 1/72, so when they bought me 1/32 scale models or soldiers it REALLY f*cked things up. :furious:

I was a hateful ingrate, obviously. :-(

I read them all to death, coloured in the black and white bits with my Caran D'ache pencils and then my mum gave them to Oxfam.

I used to covet the stuff you could buy from the back of them, knowing all the while they lived in that magical, unreachable land called America. And I used to wonder why I didn't have a Zip Code.

But as an impatient kid. I would never wait for the paint to fully dry to start to try to apply the transfers and would always f**k them up.

Commando comics were excellent, and featured Battle of Britain pilot 'Battler' Britain.

I am a man of science, Sir C. Science's explanations of things seem a tad more plausable, imo.

I've not christened or baptised - I don't even know if those things are the same. I would not force this on my child, either. It's up to him/her to decide what they believe for themselves.
