View Full Version : There's a chap in our office who's having to be reprimanded for excessive banter.

He's a nice enough chap, but he doesn't seem to be able to stop himself from bantering in a blokey way (usually preceded by a throaty chuckle). It's like a compulsion and it's getting on everyone's tits.

Could this be the first instance of 'bantz' manifesting as a personality disorder?
Are we going to have to sack him for 'non-epic bantz'?
Why won't he shut up?

It's a risky strategy but a quick re-hash of those hilarious WKD adverts should give you a basic bantz grounding.

Failing that I propose some clockwork orange style aversion therapy where you strap him into a chair and make him watch A League of Their Own with the hilarious James Corden until cured.

Is he like Finchy?

invariably delivered an octave lower than his actual voice.

I've only seen him being interviewed on a chat show, but he struck me as a peculiarly open, polite and witty young man, and I understand his recent run in the West End in One Man Two Guvnors received excellent reviews. What have I missed?

He deals in the dark arts of banter with 'personalities' from the sports world such as her-from-sky-sports-news, retired-northern-former-cricketer and Daymee Wednapp.

And no-one should like Jamie Redknapp that much. No-one. Not even Mrs Redknapp.

I watched all of that. It was quite depressing.

Le Tissier's carrying a bit of timber, isn't he?
