recall that they have a rather unimaginative motto of One Zamia. One Nation.

Their motto is very important, summing up, as it does, the government's long-held determination not to let tribal rivalries destroy the country, which you might have noticed happening elsewhere in Africa.

Fúcking hell.
Zambia's great for walking safaris, see?
However, I do take umbrage at your comment suggesting that there is nothing other than safari to do in Africa.
South Africa - the southern & eastern coasts in particular, are astounding. They are rich in culture, natural beauty, flora and fauna - and the weather is divine.

Perhaps this is my loss, even my mistake; but while I can visit Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi, I have no time to waste on South Africa.
It's like Australia or New Zealand, or even the USA. I don't understand why, with a whole world at your disposal, you'd travel for hours to visit an essentially European culture.
The last time I was in Cape Town I got taken for a great meal in a lovely Greek restaurant. I wanted to shoot myself.
cry from European culture.
The Drakensburgs too, are fantastic.
I'd have to agree on Tanzania. Have you done Botswana and Namibia too?

Sorry. I'm a bit edgy.
I haven't been to Botswana or Namibia. I spent most time in Kenya. Back in the day.
