It seems to all change so quickly. I'd like a Smart TV I think as I quite like the idea of having Netflix directly in it.

They are still world beaters, but soon they will drop plasmas, as they are costing too much to manufacture, compared to the inferior lcd's. Had my 42G for 2 years now, best investment av wise ever.

Seriously, we bought a new 46" for the living room and it looks smaller than the old 40" that is going, as there's no border on it. Gotta take that into account, the fact the screen is right up to the edge these days so if you're upgrading the new 'uns will look smaller.

Buy this from them

Say you will only buy it if they give you the warrenty for free. they did for me. Picture quality outstanding. Look at all the reviews.

A couple of months ago I bought a 55" Vizio Smart TV and while I was waiting for them to bring it up to the register, I walked over to these Sony 4K's.

They were both showing an old match between CheŁ$ki and Valencia. It blew me away! It was as if I was looking through a window down on the pitch. Never seen anything like it before. They say that it's 4 times clearer than HD, and I think they're right.

Its absolutely amazing!!
