Seems to have improved
"Szczesny has the best saves-to-shots rate of any regular Premier League goalkeeper this season at 81%."

Wait, or is it only win what's put in front of you. Or, is it you can only eat what's put in front of you? I'm confused.

It is reflected in the quality of collective defending.
Years too late of course because it was obvious all along, but very welcome nevertheless.

He's more demanding," Cazorla says. "It's been a long time without winning anything and he's determined. I learn from him every day and he has the same philosophy to keep the ball, play, but in defence, in terms of not committing mistakes, he's more on top of us. He knows last year we lost too many points. It could be that [the pressure in the summer] might have helped; it might have done the club good.
