about strikers. We saw it today. Øzil and Feo's assists have been labled as simple and acts of genius. They basically are just simple, but strikers tend to be egoistic and not very intelligent when it comes to making the best decision. Which often is to pass the ball to someone better placed. It's as aimple as that, innit?

In other sports, such as e.g. ice hockey, a goal and an assist are considered equally valuable.

I think there was a Giroud ? Goal on Ozil's debut , where Mesut made the final pass and got all the glory....however, an even better pass, from Gibbs I think, goes unheralded in the record books. Both passes were equally as important in making the goal imo
