whining, lachrymose Rab C soundalikes telling me how "special" the people of Glasgow are because, apparantly, they all rallied together to help with the rescue effort.

Most of this was uttered by, guess what, politicians trying to push their 'scottish' agenda. The good people of Glasgow are no different to anyone and did nothing more special than anybody, anywhere in the world would have done.
