nothing since to justify such a high price tag.

(This was during the 2nd half when we were 1-0 up.)

In the last two games he's played two perfectly weighted slide rule passes with the outside of his left boot for goals as well as the perfectly weighted cross-type thing for Rambo's header.

c**t.

Also great to see Feo playing a perfect pass for our third.

But you're right.

Everyone's ignoring how well the players other than Rambo are playing cos one game it's Jack, the next Santi, the next Ozyy, the next Olly, the next Tommy etc.

They're spreading it around.

I reckon we have the best group of MFs I've ever seen at The Arsenal.

I agree with you, he was outrageously biased against us throughout the commentary. Bitter chap.

When your midfielders are so regularly getting on the clean sheet, they usually include set piece goals or long range shots. But four goals in two games from midfield runs is absolutely fantastic, as He would say.

I guess when he's got Arteta alongside him he has a little bit freedom, though I suspect we'd not have seen him up there if it was only 1-0.

I wonder who Wenger will play up there when Giroud is given a breather (possibly even on Wednesday)? Bendtner has enough negative engery around him to entirely counteract Ozil's placebo effect and turn ramsay et al back into **** players :-(

I think he agreed with me that a ~£12m player is the likely option, and one who can play anywhere across the front three would be nice. Girude is the main man up there this term.

two Podolskis would be nice. :-)

when Podolski and Theo can both play down the middle.

And if Bendtner ends up staying and can restore some confidence in one of the ****ty, meaningless competitions like the UEFA or FA Cup then we have plenty of experienced options.

in a title-chasing team".

Look how Nacho has seized his chances when he's had a go. He deserves to play, even if there isn't room for him. Apart from a vaguely decent effort against West Brom, we can't say the same for Soopah Nik, I'm afraid. Even though I tried to defend him on the night to my chum next to me who said he was just ****, he was a little bit immobile against Chelsea.

Our midfield is able to bounce the ball off Olly because of his strength and control. Maybe Theo can develop in this area, but does he have it today? Or do we play in a different way, perhaps, using Mesut to ping little passes through the gaps for him? Surely we're expecting the latter to happen with Theo playing wide, where this is room for him to use his pace, but in the middle?

Theo would inevitably drift in the same way that Thierry did. Look at one of the few games he played there last season vs Newcastle (when we played 4-3-3, with Pod and Ox either side of Theo). His first goal came from him pulling out wide exactly like Thierry used to do and that Giroud, for all his qualities, cannot. His third goal the same.

So yes, we would of course lose Giroud's physical strengths, but would gain in other ways.

I suspect - though could be wrong - that Wenger will be very wary of interupting this team's rhythm with a new player that will simply be brought in to bolster the numbers.

Of course if we could sign Suarez (*spit*), however, then that is of course another matter entirely.

not the sum total of their abilities.

Both can play centrally, both are very fast, neither are 'backs to the play' type players, and both started their careers out wide. You can see the similarities, shirley?
