View Full Version : Laundry rooms. Seems they're pretty common in apartment blocks across Sweden.

Really f**king annoying. There's maybe a 10 day wait to find a free time and then you have to plan everything around doing the f**king laundry.

Load of c**t.

don't think she's used it yet. She just dumps a sack of laundry on us whenever she's home.

I've seen a lot of blokes walking around the supermarket during the day pushing a pram and doing the shopping.

Either that or you're a lazy little sod. Which is it?

Where is your work ethic?

to grasp. And they have like a third of the words the english language does so they re-use words to mean different things.

A lifestyle revolving around what's for dinner sounds pretty good to me tbh.

are Swedish and not international, so they're nearly all using the Swedish language. I'd probably have a better chance down south in Gothenburg or Stockholm but we're going to wait until i've done this swedish course and see how i get on once i'm able to speak the language at a decent level.

She wants to stay up here because she hated it when she left home and lived in Stockholm 10 years ago.

I got my personnummer last week so now i can go and register for the swedish class on Thursday. Four hour lessons five days a week for the next 4-5 months :-|

If not you should get in on the laundry racket....sounds like good money to be made.

So it's good that you can take a course before looking for a job. Even though people in my office all spoke English, i felt bad asking 20 Norwegians to all switch to English just for my benefit.

You should head to Åre in the new year for some good skiing and nightlife

Stockholm and Åre made a bid, then they offered to take me up there this winter.

Apparently it's a hotspot for all the high-flying Stockholm types?
