but I have been to one very nice wedding of what some would call an upper class/old name ( surname in doomsday book, normans, etc type people) in the French alps where she had got 1 dress from family handowns for evening and bought some light floaty lacy thing from Henley charity shop for the lunchtime service..the parents had the chalet in the alps already..so all in cost was again very low..but a lovely day and very.. classy.
