Or doesn't actually deliver what they say? Skybox was the alternative I was looking at for the fitba

I've found football can be a bit hit and miss. Tried watching 3pm games the other week before United away and couldn't get it to connect to any for about 45 minutes so missed the first half of every game.

I think it would be better if I had picked a game at 2pm and just stuck it on the Al Jazeera channel there and then.

he doesn't have Sky/Bt/Virgin so it's excellent for him, I have Sky so I'm constantly comparing picture quality etc.

I assume it's similar to finding a stream online on a matchday.

Got my eyes on building my own with a Raspberry Pi.

is to sign up for a subscription to a legitimate web TV package in a country like Norway, or one of them in the US

Then, use this http://hidemyass.com/vpn/ to change your ipad/phone/laptop IP so that the services think you are based in that country. Then you can get 3 o'c games

NZ Premier Pass is a good option too.

Often they don't check if more than one device is logged in, so you can share the cost with a mate. 14 quid a month is cheaper than Sky would charge anyway

Android box, Apple TV 2, PC, Mac, Rasperry Pi etc etc.

I would test any service on a pc/mac before shelling out for any hardware.

In general, the paid for services will give better quality/reliability than the free stuff available through Navi-X etc.
