TechWIMB - If I backup all my pics and stuff into a Cloud storage

am I right in thinking that if I then delete everything off the device and leave automatic backup on it will then delete everything in the cloud the next time it does an auto backup? If that makes any sense

backup your stuff 1st time and then turn off automatic backup and upload everything manually thereafter.....f**king stoopid
