RVP is a top top class player. Comparing his control of the ball to that of Giroud it was obvious there is a gulf in class. Why oh why didn't Arsenal keep him last year. We would likely have done so much better, then with fergie retiring there is no way he would have gone to manure and we might have kept him. With Giroud as understudy we would have had a great squad.

Van Persie is a game changer, Giroud doesn't strike me as being one. Very good team player, but if the team are misfiring he isn't likely to pull us out of the sh*t the way RVP consistently did.
